Introduction

Wiki's have become very popular over the past year or so to allow websites (or more accuratly, communities) gather together a wealth of information into one centralized source. It is truely amazing what can be accomplished when many people who don't know each other work together in a common goal. It is this sort of collaboration that has made Linux what it is today. In creating this wiki, we hope to provide a service to the community, to give new users a source for help whenever they need it. Coupled with our Linuxhelp Forums we believe that all questions should go unanswered. The idea for the Linuxhelp Wiki came from Memory Alpha, a Star Trek reference website. We began work on the wiki in January, 2005, and hope that it continues evolving for a long time.
